Summer 2009 Schedule
Predance Summer Session
This is a ballet and tumbling combo class for preschool age that lasts one hour. The class will meet once a week on Monday mornings from 11am – Noon. This is a six week session on the following dates: June 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, July 6th, & 13th. Price for this session is $30. |
Disney Princess Camp
Ages 3 – 5 years old. This is a princess themed camp that will include games, activities, craft, dress-up, and (of course) dancing to princess music! This camp is 3 days a week for 2 weeks in a row. The dates for this camp are as follows: July 6th, 8th, 10th, 13th, 15th, and 17th from 6pm – 7pm. Price for this camp is $50. |
Hannah Montana Camp
Ages 6 and up. This is a Hannah Montana themed camp that will include jazz dance to Hannah and Miley’s music, games, and activities. This camp is 3 days a week for 2 weeks in a row. The dates for this camp are as follows: July 6th, 8th, 10th, 13th, 15th, and 17th from 7pm – 8:30pm. Price for this camp is $50. |
Intro to Hip Hop
3rd to 5th graders are from 1pm – 2:30. 6th grade and up is from 2:30 to 4pm. This camp will include learning hip hop moves and combinations to popular music. The dates for this camp is as follows: June 8th, 10th, 15th, & 17th. Price for this camp is $40. |
Cheer Camp
This camp will meet 5 days in a row for 2 hours per day. The camp will include learning the basics of what every cheerleader needs to know: cheers, chants, cheer dance, motions, and jumps. Drink and snack will also be included. The dates for the camp are June 22nd – 26th. 1st – 3rd graders are from 1pm – 3pm. 4th – 6th graders are from 4pm – 6pm. Price for this camp is $50. |
Cheer Clinic
This session of cheer is for elementary age (through 6th grade) and will meet 4 times in August. This session will include learning the basics of what every cheerleader needs to know: cheers, chants, cheer dance, motions, and jumps. Drink and snack will be included. The dates for this camp are Aug. 4th, 6th, 10th & 13th from 4-6pm. Price for this camp is $40. |
Tumbling Clinics
There are 3 different levels of tumbling clinics. These clinics will meet 4 times for an hour and a half each time. The price is $40. The dates and times for each are as follows:
Beginner Tumbling: (ages 4 and up) July 7th, 9th, 14th, and 16th from 1pm – 2:30
Intermediate: July 21st, 23rd, 28th, and 30th from 6pm – 7:30
*Student must be able to do a cartwheel and a bridge unassisted to be in the intermediate level.
Advanced: Aug. 4h 6h 10h & 13hfrom 6pm - 7 :30
**Student must be able to do a backbend, handstand, and a round-off unassisted to be in the advanced level. |
Ballet Summer Session
This session is for students who have already had at least one year of regular ballet. Students who are on pointe or will be on pointe next year are highly recommended to come to as many of these as possible. The session is once a week for six weeks. These lessons are $10 per class. The dates are as follows: June 8th 15th 22nd 29th July 6th and 13th from 9am - 11am. |
Tap Master Classes
This is a special opportunity for Tap students to learn fresh choreography from visiting instructor Bartolo Cannizzaro. Last years classes were enjoyed by all who attended. One day only: June 13th Beginner - Intermediate 11:00-12:30, Intermediate - Advanced 1:30-3:00. $20 per session. |
